Web designer/developer

We are currently looking for Vancouver based web designers/developers. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience with web and/or interactive design.
  • Familiarity with web 2.0 best practices and social media trends with supporting portfolio.
  • A solid understanding of typography, color, composition, hierarchy and how these elements work together to design solutions.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinker, able to create innovative designs that meet specific target audience, technology and product requirements.
  • Deadline-oriented, flexible, organized and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience designing web applications, with a solid understanding of information design, user-interface development, and the constraints of designing for online products.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Dreamweaver.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and PHP is a plus.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization.
  • Ability to execute projects accurately, quickly and with great attention to details.
